This short course provides the legal requirements applicable to a pharmacist and pharmacy personnel to ensure that all requirements for the practice as a pharmacist are in place.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this short course, participants will have knowledge about:

• all the statutory registrations which pharmacists need to comply with prior to commencing practice or while in practice 
• references to application forms and web sites to further assist pharmacists in fulfilling their legal responsibilities
• ethical rules and the Code of Conduct for pharmacists and pharmacy personnel.

Assessment

After completion of the knowledge section, the learner must successfully complete a multiple choice questionnaire

Certification

To obtain the certificate of completion, the learner must achieve a pass mark of 70%.
